Dubai Art Show Blog:

At the Dubai Art Show 2020, TAG explored how an art ecosystem grows, is nurtured, and ultimately proliferates. Through this vision, TAG showcased the works of several distinguished Indian artists, including Nilay Sarkar, Bikash Poddar, Tapan Dash, and Kishore Roy, presenting a nuanced dialogue between contemporary practices and cultural narratives.

The event has since evolved into the region’s largest affordable retail art fair. Its relaxed format and expansive layout foster a welcoming, immersive environment—allowing visitors and prospective collectors to engage closely with the artworks and form meaningful personal connections.

World Art Dubai 2020, the fair’s sixth edition, presented an exceptional collection of over 3,000 artworks. Predominantly contemporary and spanning a wide range of mediums, each work was exhibited by a renowned gallery or an individual artist. Together, the artworks represented creative voices from more than 30 countries. From emerging Emirati artists and pop-art icons to fashion art disruptors, experimental expressionists, and practitioners of fine art and photography, the exhibition stood as a vibrant and eclectic convergence of global artistic expression.
